Rear Sight for the later #1 military 3 band rifles. George Layman's book page 40 indicates this sight is correct for #1s made after 1874. This sight features the peep hole in both the ladder and the sliding portion of the sight as opposed to the V notch of the earlier
more common production. This is a complete sight mostly white metal. Elevation numbers on the side of the sight base are clearly
visible, as are the numbers on the ladder areas except for the 6 which is obscured by a couple of pits. The thin sliding blade w/ peep is
brown.

open V notch on both the ladder and the slider. This is a complete sight

Rear Barrel Sight for a Spanish Reformado. This sight matches one we
located on an 1889 Spanish Rolling Block made in the Oviedo factory under
contract agreement w/ Remington. This sight has a thin blued finish.
All the stamping are sharp this sight is in excellent condition. The sight
spring is mounted with on of the sight mounting screws so is separate. There
are no mounting screws with this sight. We do not have a matching rifle to
determine the proper screw for this application. Rare sight particularly
in this condition.

Rear Sight for a Spanish Reformado. This sight matches one we observed on
an 1884 Spanish rolling block from the Oviedo factory. The Ladder and
slider are a deep blue and in excellent condition. The base has a blued
finish and shows some pitting along the wood line on the right side as
well as the top edge of the rear. The numeral stamping on the left side
are clear and distinct. The ladder pin appears to have been removed and
replaced at one time. there are tool marks on the left edge of the boss
through which the pin in mounted. There are some squiggle marks on
the base just below the pin as well. It is otherwise in very good
condition. We do not have mounting screws for this sight

#5 rolling block military rifle Sight. This sight is the issue sight for the 1897 and 1902 models. It is not the correct sight for the 1910
model. The sight is nearly all white metal. The number stampings on both
the base and the ladder are very sharp & crisp. The slider is tight
and will hold any position on the ladder. The slider screw heads are clean
and straight. There are a few small pits at the wood line on the rear
corners of the sight base. There is another spot (3/16") of pitting
at the wood line on the left front of the sight base. This is a very god
condition sight, how it lost so much finish and stayed in this good a
condition is interesting. This sight will come with mounting screws. We have other examples of this sight priced according to condition.

#6 Remington Falling block Sight Set. The front sight is grey metal, the rear sight is showing grey on the top corners and the ends off the sight. Remington made #6 rifles with at least two different rear barrel sight. Some #6 will have the adjustable rear sight as used on the late #4. The key is the size of the rear dovetail on the barrel. If the rear dovetail is 3/8 you need the adjustable sight, a smaller rear dovetail apx .295 will use this fixed sight.
