Custom Trigger return spring kit. This is a replacement spring and screw
that will reduce your trigger pull dramatically. The original
Remington trigger return spring is very heavy/strong and contributes to an
overly heavy trigger pull. The function of the trigger return spring is to
simply return the trigger to a position that will allow it to engage the
hammer sear notch. This kit is the simplest method to dramatically reduce
trigger pull on the rolling block rifle. This kit is for the large frame
military actions both #1 and #5 models. This kit is not made for the #2,
#4, or #6 rifles. Spring only $10 |

Tang Screw- Gunsmith repair tapered Tang Screw. This is a tang screw for
a large frame rolling block receiver (including #1, #1 1/2, #5 and
similar size sporting models). It is identical to the original tang
screws except we threaded it 1/4-28. This allows a gunsmith to re-tap
the tang screw hole on a trigger guard 1/4-28 and use this aftermarket
screw as opposed to obtaining a custom tap in #14-26 to restore the
original thread pattern where the trigger guard tang screw hole has been
damaged. For those wanting to do an original restoration we also have the custom
#14-26 tap see below. |

Butt Plate for the #6 Remington falling block boys rifle.
We have two varieties available; a plain plate without logo for the
earliest production rifles, and another with logo for the mid production
#6 rifles. The logo is 'Remington' over 'UMC' inside a circle with
'trademark' lettering under the circle. This is the variation with UMC
lettering that has larger/taller letters than the Remington. These butt
plates are blued steel. We plan to make the late production variation
butt plate this year (2009). The mounting screws are a #9 slotted
oval head wood screw (see below). These screws are available for $6 a set when
ordered with the butt plate. Please advise which butt plate variation
you want when ordering. |

Roller Main Spring for the 1871 Army and target rifles. Bill used to make up these springs. At the
time of purchase there were a few of the original unfinished springs in
the inventory that did not have the roller device installed. We recently
had the springs annealed, shaped, rollers added and then re-heat treated.
These springs have each been installed in a #1 receiver and tested for
function. |
