Rear Barrel Sight for a late #1 military rifle.

This is the sight with open V notch on both the ladder and the slider. White metal base is not pitted below the wood line. Ladder has distinct markings and slider works well. We have ladder springs for this sight $15.00. We also have the peep version of this sight, P.O.R.

#5 rolling block military rifle Sight.

This sight is the issue sight for the 1897 and 1902 models. It is not the correct sight for the 1910 model. This is a stock photo. Photos of individual sights are available on request. We have several other examples of this sight priced according to condition.

Rear sight for a #5 1910 model military Remington RB rifle.

This sight is unique to the 1910 variation of the #5 Rifle. It has the lower elevation ramp as opposed to the high ears of the 1897 or 1902 issues. Fully functional nice condition sight.

#1 Remington rolling block carbine rear Sight, type 1.

This re-manufactured sight was modeled after an original sight on a Modelo Argentino 1879 carbine. It is furnished in the white so it can be finished to match your carbine. This is the sight identified by George Laymen in his book The Military Remington Rolling Block Rifle as the sight furnished on the majority of export military #1 carbines. These sights are available with blued or antique finish for $60.

This is the headless screw that adjusts the elevation of the rear barrel sight (see above). The sight was also used by Remington on other rim fire rifles of the early 1900s. $3.00

#2 tang sight screw.

Front screw for the Lyman or Marbles tang sight on the factory drilled & tapped Remington #2 sporting rifle. This is an obsolete thread pattern only suitable for the original Remington tapped holes. This screw will also work as the front tang sight mounting screw for the #4 rifle. $6.00

1896 front sight blades

we have a number of the rare 1896 front sight blades available.
Unlike the 1897 this front sight is pinned into a log narrow base.

1889 Swede front sight blade inserts

Inserts are marked form +2.0 in halfs through 0 to -2.0
If your rifle is impacting the target either high or low you can replace the front sight insert to adjust the point of aim.
Remember the adjustment on front sights is the oposite direction of the way you want the impact to move.
